The fabric of our identity

Our history is woven into the very textiles, crafts, and oral traditions we carry from the Sahel. Through community gatherings and active preservation, we keep these ancient practices alive for our families in Canada.

The Zaghawa dialect is a living archive of our culture. We are committed to documenting, teaching, and speaking our native tongue to protect it from extinction in the diaspora.
